This course is designed to review IV Therapy concepts and the scope of practice for the Licensed Practical Nurse with IV therapy certification. Participants are CMH nurses who are preparing for IV therapy competency demo in compliance with the Missouri State Board of Nursing Minimum Standards and 20 CSR 2200-6.030 of the Code of State Regulations.
Nurses who successfully complete the competency check-off will be permitted to perform additional IV therapy practices as defined in 20 CSR 2200-6.030 #6-A, B, C, D, and E.
